At The Bridal Room we believe that every bride has a unique story, and that includes a dress that matches it. Our journey began in 2012, in the attic of our parents' house. What started as a rack of 10 dresses has grown into to a beautiful business with locations in the center of Dordrecht and Antwerp. Now we are a trusted address for stylish, unique and modern brides who are looking for their dream dress - whether that is to buy or rent.
In 2012 we started with a rack of about 10 wedding dresses in our parents' attic. Since then a lot has changed and we have a beautiful building in the center of Dordrecht and in Antwerp. In recent years we have been able to help many brides with their dream dress and we are very proud of that.
How it started
The idea for The Bridal Room came from a personal quest. Amal Atbir, one of our founders, wanted to find a classic dress with sleeves. “Nothing special, you might think,” says Amal. “But it turned out to be difficult. Then I thought: why not buy dresses myself? It seemed simple, but it was quite a challenge. Luckily, my sister was there for me from the start. That’s how it became ‘By the Atbir Sisters’.”
Grow with love and passion
What started as a dream in the attic, grew into a beloved place for brides. In 2022 we took a beautiful step with our exclusive evening dress collection La Nuit and in 2024 we expanded with La Mairie . With this we show that we continue to grow and want to offer brides something special.

At The Bridal Room, it's all about quality and special dresses. We design our dresses with a lot of love and attention. We use the best fabrics and pay close attention to the fit and design. Our collection is constantly being renewed; new dresses are added every month. On our Instagram page (@bridalroom) we show these new dresses.
A dress for every bride
We know that every bride is different. That is why you can buy or rent dresses from us. We have more than 400 wedding dresses and 30 henna dresses in our rental collection. Would you prefer a custom dress? Our studio will make your dream dress exactly the way you want it. This can be an existing dress from the store or a design entirely of your own.
